My latest story idea is a mixture of Tokyo Ghoul and Prey which is what I’ve been watching and playing these days so um that sucks.

It doesn’t suck because I want to be original or whatever I don’t mind my ideas being based on the things I love and being inspired by things I enjoy watching and playing but it sucks because my interests change so fast and as soon as I lose interest in the previous thing the story’s gone from me too. Which is why I like NaNoWriMo so much. It gives me a 30-day window with minimal preparation where I’m too busy trying to hit word counts to be distracted with a new interest. That’s why I only get any writing done during NaNo months (not July though cause… like I said I lost the previous story already cause I was only outlining not actually writing). Which is equal parts nice I guess and horrible.
