Is that 14 days you can take off in a whole year, like holidays??
Ugh that’s stressful to keep track over!
Ya, I had 16 days in total but I already took two off since March. (How dare I? x))
We have about 20 manual workers I have to keep track of and it wouldn’t be so difficult if they weren’t fucking idiots. Like first they have a daily thing to sign that proves they showed up at work. I have to put missing personnell in the calendar, then I have to put that in a huge excel thing, then if someone has a day off or they’re sick or have some other paper to authorise their absence then I’ll have to get that signed by the boss, then I have to write another excel list of that then if any of the absences varrants salary reduction (like, if you’re sick you get paid less) then I have to get that paper to finances, then every day I have to write a “work report” where I have to write down how many workers were present what they did and so on and so on. PLUS there’s a computer system where I have to register this every month.
Now it doesn’t look too difficult to keep track cause you have a list of shit to get done, fine. But if someone doesn’t sign their paper, or if someone signed but then went home, or if they didn’t bring the right paper or if they changed their minds or if they lied, or if something doesn’t match up, or if they told me they were on a day off but then they bring me a paper for sick leave, that changes everything, everything goes out the ffffuuuckin window and I want to scream forever.
What makes this even worse is a good majority of our workers come in work (if they come at all) drunk and get three times my salary, so that’s nice.
