Reblog this post with an out of context quote from your OC

“People point at things, and I stab the things for money. Someone here pointed at something, so I’m gonna go stab it now.”

“Don’t be silly, other dimensions are completely different.”

“You, me, the electoral college. I’m into this, let’s do business together, bitch!”

“It’s part of the interview,” I say with a roll of my eyes. “He manifested all my fears into physical creatures, and now I have to defeat them to prove my worth or something like that.”

“Hug me”.

“If
you’re suggesting I got drunk and almost drowned, I can assure you I didn’t.”

“Hey, at least I’m of age to be doing illicit behavior.”

I couldn’t choose between “Sure I’ve killed innocent people before but I mean, who hasn’t?” and “I’m not one of those brooding killers for hire, I’m a cool assassin. I tell jokes, people like me.”

oc meme?: 3 songs to describe them

1. how other people see them

2. how they see themselves

3. how they really are (how you see them hahah)

I’ll do this for the Vale Golden Trio

1 How other people see them:

Vale: this. this song. definitely this song. just listen to it, it’s the best.
Cephas: this is weird cause nobody really knows Cephas. but I guess the few people that do know him… also like pre-story or post-story or mid-story cause…. you know… anyway. Aurora – Little Boy in the Grass
Morlene: X Ambassadors – Hoping

2 How they see themselves:

Vale: La Bouquet – Loser Baby
Cephas: Shinedown – Call Me
Morlene: Foo Fighters – These Days

Easy, next question.

3 How they really are (how you see them):

Vale: X Ambassadors – Low Life
Cephas: this song. definitely this song. this is how I see him.
Morlene: The Cinematic Orchestra – To Build a Home

“But tell your friend Salami that I won’t be joining the rebellion anytime soon.”

        “Not a bleeding-heart liberal, I know.”

        “I called him Salami, Cephas.”

        “I know.”

“His name’s Celami, I was making fun of him.”

“I know.”

        “Oh, you just… didn’t react and I
wanted to make sure you got that.”

“I got it, I just thought it’d be funny
to not react and see how you like it.”

        “That’s fucking rude, man.”

“How tragic would it be if both changed colour?”

“No, no, it would be way more tragic if
only one changed!”

Will I ever stop foreshadowing? Stay tuned to find out.

Several things Vale has done over the course of the novel will go down in history as the dumbest thing anybody could do in the given scenario, but hanging out with Cephas when Cephas is surely infected and Vale surely isn’t just because he looks sad takes the cake.
