When you want to get an achievement that needs human mods but you’re doing an only typhon mods run so you do a big boy save, make thirteen neuromods to get repair III literally with the last exotic materials you had so you can fix the computer but you don’t have enough spare parts so you recycle all your psi hypo to get enough exotic material so you can get three more neuromods to get dismantle so you can loot the destroyed operators for spare parts and fix the computer then take the satellite part outside to the Talos I Exterior and spend an hour spacewalking to find the satellite when you realise the game auto-hid the objective marker for some reason even though it’s been active before, and then you get the achievement.

I’m also looking at the all transcribes achievement and doesn’t two like cancel each other out? I only get Dr. Igwe’s Last Words if I let him die but I only get Leitner’s if Dr. Igwe lives so… the füque?

Edit: ok nvm I can just loot Igwe’s body for the sample. Motherfucker’s gotta drop either way.

I’m trying to figure out a way to like… get the kill everyone achievement and the escape Talos with only you and Dahl on the shuttle but I don’t know how much time is between me meeting Dahl and me meeting Alex. Cause by then in theory I would only have those two alive so if I meet Dahl I just break his face then go meet Alex break HIS face then reload, leave Dahl alive, break Alex whenever I see him next then do the route where I blow up Talos and get back to Dahl so it’s just us two. Right… because then it would take two more runs to complete all achievements because my next one is going to be the scavenging one where I’m OP as fuck but I’ll have to leave people alive because they’re connected to achievements I’m still yet to get so it would take me two killing runs and one no-killing run (plus the no neuromod run) instead of the one killing run where I reload to get the achievement and the one no killing run.

When in the end of Prey they evaluate you and mention what you did with the mind-controlled humans if you disarm all of them non-lethally they mention how you went out of your way to avoid killing humans even if they wanted to kill you, right. Now I just wonder what they’ll say if you non-lethally disarm mind-controlled humans to avoid them exploding on you which would cause you to fail the kill every human achievement, then beat them all to death with a wrench….

Something is happening to my Prey save file and I’m scared ;_;

Like there are Greater Mimics roaming around right out the gate, I’ve met like Thermal Phantoms already and I haven’t even been to the GUTS yet I’m that early in the game. I’ve checked my difficulty settings like three times and I’m still playing on Story difficulty so what the heck? Is it like Oxenfree that it recognises that you’ve played it before and adds more shit? But I’m not even playing a New Game + I’ve started a new game from the scratch, I’m scared ;_;

When you go to an area in Prey to finish an objective but you get caught up in the area-specific quests and unveiling all the little stories and exploring everything then return to the main area only to notice you forgot the original reason why you even went to that area in the first place.

when you think you’re so smart because you notice the game is preparing you for a boss fight so you prepare and fortify four turrets but then the boss fight is two technopaths who then take control of all four fortified turrets to use against you this is so sad January play Everything Is Going to Be Okay
