I also had a game today where I was Orisa in Numbani and we capped the last checkpoint before the end but then they caught us outside our spawn and we just couldn’t get to the payload. The enemy had a Zarya, Zenyatta, Sombra, Torbjörn, Mercy, and maybe a Genji or a Pharah I’m not sure. I think it was a Pharah actually. Or they swapped. Anyways, I kept ulting and not being able to get through, the Sombra found it so much fun to flank us, the Zarya kept charging her gun and just completely obliterating me until I realised I can no longer see the payload.

I was like…? How? They can’t push it back through checkpoints, right? Shit you not, I looked at the upper thingy that shows the progress of the game and the payload was moving forward and even the Widow was gone from next to me. So me, the smartest person in the room, kept coming out of spawn and dying to these five assholes that were just so happy and strutting around and ulting around me and all. It was glorious and I could see the counter that showed there were four people on the payload, and I guess one who was circling the area. I think the Pharah/Genji was the only one from the enemy who noticed it but it wasn’t enough and it definitely was too late.

By the time the siren started blaring that the payload is approaching its destination there was no way they could get back from our last spawn to the payload and we won x)

Well, it’s better than last time I guess o_o Last season I finished above 1400 but I was initially placed at around 1100 with only one win and nine losses. So I guess this is improvement?

I had so many exhausting games, holy shit, people were so goddamn rude. And like, these aren’t even trolls they’re just straight up furious when we’re playing really badly. The Mercy that told me to fuck myself because my shield was on cooldown at the wrong time was like “but I’m taking this game seriously cause I want to be the best” like honey you’re mid-bronze your it’s not like you’re trying to get into top500 ok.

Miraculously the team I had on Temple of Anubis was kind of lukewarm but at least cooperative and this one guy was like yay, let’s rock this! It went to sudden death where both teams had one minute to take point A. We defended first and succeeded then we all agreed to all be tanks and shields so we went into the fight with Rein/Orisa/Winston/Zarya/D.Va and one Mercy again a Rein/Orisa/D.Va/Bastion/Torb/Reaper and we took the point successfully.

It’s weird how that works when you stop demoralising your team eh :/ And even during the games where we did play badly and were going to lose I just enjoyed not being pissed off at people throwing hissy fits because the pixels on the screen didn’t go in a way they liked.

Uh I’m doooone with the Halloween event. Apart from the achievement-related sprays I have every loot except for the damn Zarya skinnnnn. I even got the damn Genji and Hanzo VP’s even though I never play them just cause they cost 75 credits. I also bought Torb’s skin but I’m not about to spend 3000 on a skin I don’t even like but it bothers me that it’s the only one I don’t havvvvvvve x)
