before the beginning for the meme :^)

Thank you! ^^ Oh god, so much.

I guess it’s pretty significant that one time Vale blew her ear off her head and had to look for illegal medical help (since she did that while, you know, killing people) and that’s how she met Morlene who’s always been big on helping out those the law stops from getting legal medical help. Vale really liked that plus she crushed hard on Morlene so she tried lingering around after that in hopes of drawing her attention.

Which she did x) Around that time the High Castle were selling seemingly worthless lands for almost a handful of silvers so when Morlene bought a plot of land on Cobaltcast, Vale knew she was up to something. She kept bugging Morlene about it until she told her she was going to use the poor quality land to build a house on it and under the house a sturdy-ass basement/morgue where she could help burn blight victims (also illegally). Vale dug that anti-establishment shit so she helped her build it.

hey guys i wanna buy a game for myself this Christmas, preferably something cheap on desktop

i want a casual game, something ‘self care’, maybe farming or base building?

Okay so I looked through my library and there’s one game called Slime Rancher that I find so cute and would definitely recommend.

I don’t think there’s an energy system so you can stay up overnight and stuff, and you collect little slimes and then you breed different kinds, different kinds need different corrals and different food, there are dangerous ones but in the end you collect their poops for money (its called a plort and it looks like a crystal but come on, we all know its their poop). With enough poop money you can p much automate feeding and farming so you have more time to explore.

There are areas to unlock, secrets to find, messages to read from previous slime ranchers AND there’s a lovely story in the background about Beatrix (thats you!) that plays out in letters you receive from a gender-neutral significant other (well the name is unisex and they never declare their gender, something that was intentional according to the devs) that explains why your character became a Slime Rancher.

The music is so lovely too, especially the song that plays during the credits, some areas are seriously beautiful and even though there’s an end goal (which is not easy to achieve so its already a long game) it can go on for however long you want. It is first person however so maybe not the best for people prone to motion sickness unfortunately 😦

I definitely find it more self care-y than stardew valley for reasons I already explained.

undertale and balance are defo two of my top ten. i should play bioshock

Right? So good *_* Please do play Bioshock Infinite if you can, it was one of the first video games I ever played (the third, actually x)) and it was just such an amazing ride. Idk if you play shooters or if they’re your cuppa, they’re not exactly my favourite, I’m more partial to walking simulators and first person puzzles but honestly the fights are just second or third to the story, the world, and the characters, and it’s got so many hints and foreshadowing, it’s one of those things you find something new about every time you return to it *_*
