because i cant be arsed to write more background characters to make the story feel more alive ill just make it into a may-may that none of the main characters have any friends other than each other,

So… because the actual story (that I don’t know yet) actually comes after what I’m writing now, this is what is essentially the origin story of the characters, right? So all these scenes I’m writing feel like I’m writing fanfiction for something I’ll write in the future, like, small domestic scenes of the characters bonding and being cute (and sometimes angsty) with each other and if I push the panic of not knowing what the actual story is about aside then it’s actually quite refreshing ngl.

Because NaNo is today and I’ve done zero planning and just going to wing it for the first time in my life here’s a not at all panicked Mem that I stole from here just so you can see how absolutely prepared I am.

1. How many times have you done NaNo?
|| Every year since 2012 so that’s… six I guess, jesus h macy.
2. How did you get into it?
|| Heard some wroter fwiends talk about it.
3. How much planning do you have done?
|| Since ‘14 I usually have a whole-ass outline, sometimes with scene-by-scene breakdown but the only breakdown this year is my own.
4. Any writing buddies?
|| Like… on the NaNo site, sure, a billion, but none I actually actively keep up with because I’m horrible.
5. What’s your personal goal?
|| To cry the least possible amount.

Plot

|| I dunno.

|| Maybe?

9. When did you come up with the idea?
|| I haven’t yet.
10. Any romance sub-plots?
|| The one thing I know is there’s no romance, I got no time for that.

Character

11. What are your MCs names?
|| You gotta ask them, my man.
12. Who’s your favorite character so far?
|| Probably the one that will turn out to suffer the most cause they need it the most.
13. Who’s your least favorite character so far?
|| I’m gonna go out on a limb and say that the bad guy who hurts the good guys.
14. Which of your characters would die first in the zombie apocalypse?
|| the whiniest one, ill say

|| Uuuuhhhh, apples.
17. If had to gender swap your MC how much would it affect the story?
|| Idk what gender they’re gonna be but I’m gonna say no cause who cares.

|| Not the POV character for sure cause I can’t write smoothly.

|| The narrator.

|| A better one. Which is not a high bar to hit lbr.
