So Gamora said that at first Thanos went from planet to planet killing half of every civilisation he came across, right? So when Thanos snapped his fingers and killed half of the universe he killed half of the civilisations he already killed half of. So that would leave them with an unbalanced quarter of their original population.

OR I guess he could just will it so that the civilisations he already halved are spared but we know they’re not because Drax said Thanos killed half of his planet and he disappeared too which means his civilisation was also affected by the snap and thus if the half of his halved civilisation disappeared then that leaves them with again, a quarter of the original population.

BAD MATH

Okay my sister says that maybe Thanos is doing this literally planet by planet, so he kills the half of every planet not every civilisation. So if Nebula, Quill, Mantis, Drax, Tony, Strange, and Peter are on Titan along with possibly some more people/survivors, half of the people present on Titan would die, so it would be plausible that Drax disappears even though his civilisation had been halved before. It’s not civilisations that are targeted but literally the people that are currently on a certain planet at the time Thanos snaps his fingers. In which case – though unconfirmed – he could’ve willed it that the planets he already killed the half of are spared this time, and thus Drax could still be victim to The Snap.

You get off the hook this time, Mr. Thanos.

I mean, you could argue that Thanos has also halved Titan before but I mean… everybody on it is dead now and he does know there are some troublemakers on it that could mean him harm so…

Thanos is treading on some mighty thin ice here.

I’m literally sitting at work under piles of shit I need to do and this is what I’m thinking about, someone help me.
