I don’t get it when people say bands “take two years off” between two albums. Like… that’s perfectly fine, that’s not a time off, that’s like a completely rational time between albums, I’d say it’s even rushed a little bit if you tour with the previous album properly. Time off between two albums should count from when the band stops touring until they start working on another album. If you released an album in 2015 and then another one in 2017 that doesn’t mean you took “two years off”, it just means you released an album, toured with it for a year or so and then made another album in under a year. That’s not time off at all, geez.

Alright so new Editors tour, alright…
Budapest, April 16th very nice, very nice
Zagreb, April 17th also very nice
Vienna, April 18th my birthday whaaaat okay okay okay

But hey, listen… I can’t go to Zagreb even though it’ll be the cheapest date ugh. But hey, Zagreb is so fucking far from Vienna it’d cost a fortune to get back to Hungary alone and then to Vienna? I wouldn’t even get there to queue for Vienna and get a good place AND since Vienna’s the birthday date I’d be exhausted and late and it’d stress me out to get there so no way, nope. I’d love it and it’d be fucking cool but it’s not smart so I’m not gonna.

I am however going to Budapest and Vienna… those are… those are cool. I fuck with those 😀
