– Apparently the “death strands” (black things in the background” are something ‘positive’. Kojima calls them “ropes” and compares them to his connection to Guerilla Games for example.
– Kojima, who is really inspired by the Mario games, calls Sam a ‘normal’ guy who by just being himself happens to save the world
– Apparently they implemented Norman Reedus’s new tattoo because Norman himself approached Kojima Productions and super excitedly asked if they could add it to his ingame character model
– The song of the new trailer immediately inspired Kojima by giving him the mental image of Sam wandering around in the wasteland. Also “Silent Poets” appear to be a friend of a friend of Kojima. Apparently he has very intersting and popular friends.
