One(?) gifset per episode || 32 Against the Tide of Bone

The party began to systematically take out members of the “New Nobles” who worked underneath the Briarwoods, setting many buildings on fire, leaving emblems of the de Rolo crest across the town and written in the sky, and after an extensive battle began to make their way towards the Castle Whitestone itself. Burrowing into a partially collapsed but long remembered secret passage underneath the castle, the party rested for the evening (…).While they were searching this tunnel, it led to the dungeons, the prison cells beneath the Castle Whitestone (…). While they were walking through those cells, they discovered an old woman currently locked down below there, who is asking for the party’s aid in freeing her from her imprisonment.

One(?) gifset per episode || 31 Gunpowder Plot

Many of the townsfolk have become the militia that they’ve been preparing to be. Armed with whatever they could find, they’ve managed to take down a number of the large hulking zombie giant guardians throughout [Whitestone]. Many lives were lost in the process and the battle is ongoing. As [Vox Machina] rushed towards the center of the town to check in on the Sun Tree, finding all the previous bodies that resembled members of Vox Machina cut from its boughs, [they] saw, swarming into the center of the city, a large horde of skeletal undead, clattering forth into the dark, as the sun has now set over the horizon, the rain beginning to pour heavily onto the center of the town. There were efforts meant to keep the army at bay, as [they] all rushed towards the west to escape the immediate fray.

[Vox Machina] then set out to set a two-pronged attack against two of the remaining New Nobles in the town: Duke Vedmire was the one that Scanlan went to, the rest of [the party] going to seek Count Tylieri. As the rain pours down into the city, midday, Scanlan decided to, from a Polymorph spell as a fly, to the top of the front door step of Vedmire’s home, then proceeding to un-Polymorph and re-Polymorph himself into a triceratops. [Meanwhile,] the other group is stealthing through the rain to the back [of Tylieri’s home], at which point the OK was given to Grog—whether intentionally or not. Grog then charged to the front door of Tylieri’s estate and the rest of [them] prepared for impact.

Following him back to a home, it was discovered that Sir Kerrion, one of the individuals responsible for the death of Percival’s family, was still part of the ruling class [in Whitestone]. The party then snuck in through the bottom of the building, stealthed into a full surprise ambush upon him and his compatriots, and murdered most of them. They took his toadie, essentially, Vouk, and instead of murdering him, tore out his tongue and then burned the de Rolo family crest into his forehead before throwing him out the window. The party then escaped into the night rain, returning to their tavern.

[Vox Machina] under the guise of Scanlan’s Seeming illusion, appeared to be as common folk as the rest of the poor saps that still live in Whitestone. They (…) also managed to come across a central portion of Whitestone’s city structure and history known as the Sun Tree. A tree once risen to the might of the sun god Pelor, now lies dead in the center of town, and from it hung eight figures that appeared to have been individuals killed, hung, and painted up and dressed to resemble Vox Machina, as essentially a warning or a welcome; it’s hard to tell when it comes to the Briarwoods. Nevertheless, a message was definitely delivered.

One(?) gifset per episode || 27 The Path to Whitestone 

After much discussion and preparation, and purchasing a lot of mirrors, the party took their transit over to east, northeast, towards Whitestone, where they began to traverse the Alabaster Sierras to the north, using the mountain range as opposed to going directly through the forest. There they managed to avoid encountering a bunch of harpies that were distracted by eating the horses they left behind. They camped for the evening and began to make their way through some sort of a mountainous valley that led in towards the forest surrounding Whitestone. While they were traveling down this pass, there was a rumbling and some sort of really fast, rapid-moving large blue creature that leaped down in front, catching them off guard.

When [Vox Machina] returned to the Keep they found two representatives of the northern farmers of Emon who required aid: a series of their livestock had been stolen over the past few weeks and was putting them in dire straits when it came to the necessary amount of meat they had to raise. The group, trying to turn their morality on its head, decided to aid them, awaited out in the center of the cow pasture at night; masquerading, through illusionary magic, as cows themselves.

[Vox Machina] discovered upon returning that the illustrious Briarwoods (…) were coming to Emon to meet for a political banquet with Sovereign Uriel Tal’Dorei (…). Information was gathered at this banquet, Vax went on his own little adventure into the Briarwoods’ room, in which they nearly killed him. The party rushed out to his aid, much violence ensued, the Briarwoods eventually escaped through some sort of magical means that was not uncovered, however they are no longer in the picture. (…) The party during this event had encountered a tiefling by the name of Lillith, who was masquerading as one of the servants within the Palace of Tal’Dorei, aided them in the battle(…).

One(?) gifset per episode || 24 The Feast

[Vox Machina] made their (…) way to the central palace in the Cloudtop District of Emon. The Briarwoods arrived, a feast was put out, however Percy went in under an illusion to look like Vax, while Vax went invisible. Everyone had formal attire on, weapons left at the door, unarmored, dressed for the occasion. During the feast, conversations were had, questions were raised, and information was extracted. Seeker Assum had requested to have been met in the foyer by our rogue here, who forgot and then decided to go on his own upstairs, following the Briarwoods to the second floor where their guest room was set.

Pike left back there to finish up the renovation of the temple of Sarenrae that was discovered—the rest of the party moved on back to Emon, the rest of their business complete. Within Emon, they returned to the Greyskull Keep where […] Seeker Assum […] came to [Vox Machina] notifying [them] that within a week’s time the Briarwoods, Lord and Lady Briarwood, are supposed to be arriving here within Emon for a feast,

to discuss, apparently, the building of a bridge and a more political joining between Emon and the Tal’Dorei royal family and these up-and-coming Lords and Ladies, who have a very dark history, apparently, with Percy.
