@ everyone. His Oscar’s performance was the way it was because he wanted it be as CLOSE as it was to the movie. Also, on the red carpet he mentioned that he was NERVOUS to sing it again after so long. They record the voices / songs first to animate the character’s with their vc actors, so it’s probably been awhile.
