Right, only 18 eur, good to know :)

Right? So lucky! The bands I like usually come to the small clubs here so they don’t usually cost that much. The gig I went to in February was like 8 euros, so good. On the way to the show I saw this girl wearing three bras at once and I could see her lock eyes with me as she realised… if she hadn’t spent all her money on bras she could’ve come to the show with me but it was too late. She started crying but luckily she had a fourth bra to dry her tears with.

Hey, can I ask (completely without judgement) why it would be so bad if you got your period? Is it because you don’t use tampons? Or because you’re in so much pain?

Yeah I don’t use tampons I’m very no-no about anything that involves penetration (so the two times I had pap smears were straight up traumatic) even if I know you can barely feel it and it’s much more practical than pads and stuff. (Plus I get such heavy bleedings I use night pads all the way throughout my period even in the last days (and my periods usually last for a good 10 days) so I’m not sure how much of a use tampons would be anyway in my case for a 9-hour camping out x))

Why are you called roxanne on overwatch?

It was my username on my old Sherwood Dungeon account (best MMORPG ever, yeah I said it) but back then I just wanted a tough-sounding name, and then The Police song Roxanne was on one of my favourite Community episodes and since then it just keeps playing in my head at random times so when I don’t want to be called my usual usernames on a new account which are lonelyarchitect and the-honey I just pick Roxanne.

Regarding that Representation matters post you reblogged: the point of showing all these women of different colours and different shapes & sizes is to make you realize, no matter what you look like, it’s ok! There is no ugly representation because there is no “ugly”.

Eeehhh, but there is ugly though. Not according to feminism, of course, but according to “western standards” there is. Overweight and non-white are also one of the things that makes people ugly by these standards and luckily there’s tons of representation and appreciation for those, it’s great and I’d never want that to stop, but where are the rest of those who don’t hit the bar? And if there really is no ugly, then why aren’t there girls with pockmarks and scars and bad teeth and huge underbites and bad postures and surgery scars and greasy hair and lazy eyes and terrible acne in these body positive shoots?

Supporting and validating overweight and non-white people exist because these are considered ugly by western standards, so just the existence of these campaigns proves that there is ugly and we very much care about it, even if for the purpose of defeating it.

It’s probably a bad analogy but let’s say it’s a bit like all LGTBQ+ representation included was gay people. It’s great and I’d never want them to be less represented but there are a lot of letters in that acronym left that all would love a piece of that delicious cake of representation. Y’knowwhatImean? I’m bad at explaining.
