You know that scene in the PacRim 2 trailer towards the end where these four jaegers are firing up their weapons and they all stand semi-close to each other and the camera keeps panning between them I think that scene alone is responsible for making the audience feel like it’s power rangers cause the camera moves goddamn fast that’s what it do I love everything about the trailer but that part is just scale done badly it feels like it’s filmed from a drone programmed to fly predetermined distances from one spot to another and it loses the scale of the scene imagine how much bigger and heavier that scene would look if the camera panned slower or on a straight line.
