but look at this
during their first meeting
especially between a man and a woman
he excuses himself and gives mako a chance to say ''no mr. becket actually we have to go do this now''
i love it
im not saying movies where a raleigh character would just leave mako there are inherently sexist or whatever
it just adds to the respect between them
its subtle but stands out because movies dont tend to take the time for moments of basic decency like this
just simply because raleigh takes the time to make sure he doesnt just leave mako there to deal with his personal business
